Her books include God’s Unconditional Love, A Journey for Moses and Can you be
trusted with Pain and a children’s book called Black Hair Magic, Brown Skin
Magic, Body Magic, The Nameless Women in the Bible, Khosi and the Princess,
The Ability in Disability and The Prayer Kist, which she has published through her
company, Winter Night Media. She’s about to release two books.
She won three awards at the African Author’s Award, for her books The Prayer Kist
and The Ability in Disability. An anthology she edited: The Practice of Gratitude
also won an award for Best compilation. Her book, Can you be trusted with Pain
was a runner up at the Behind the Blazer Awards, for Best Female Author.
Winter Night Media also wrote and produced a short film called Lerato, Mzansi
Magic films Mr. Right, The Calling, An Honest Living, Woman to Woman, Do for
Love and Knight. She’s written A Cup of Sugar, Family Matters, Isipho, Salamina,
for SABC 1’s Makoti and many other films.
She’s the Founder of Dikeledi-Thokozile Foundation, an NPO that takes women
between 19-30 who dropped out of school back to school. The organization also
runs a program called Young Woman You Are Worthy, a self-esteem program for
young women from 14-18 that prevents them from dropping out.
She has done content for productions such as Mojo, Choice II, Moribo, Spirit
Sundae, One Day Leader, Future Leaders, Women in Science, Breaking New
Ground, Hola Ha Monate, Eye on Africa and Daily Thetha. She also produced and
directed Imbali Yebhaca, produced Ukuthwala, about Amampondo and is
currently working on Katorus – The Untold Story, which are documentaries.
